DC Kapurthala redress the grievances of villagers at Sidhwan Dona

Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal today visited the village Siddwan Dona of Kapurthala block with a aim to redress the problems faced by the people at their doorsteps.

During the interaction with the people in the village , Deputy commissioner listened the problems faced by people of the village and issued necessary guidelines to the officials of Rural Development department for immediate solution.

sarangal said that the Punjab government is paying special attention to the development of villages, under which it will be ensured that the benefits of public welfare schemes reach every eligible person besides completing the development works in war footing.

Deputy Commissioner directed the officials of the Panchayat Department to pay special attention to the quality of the development works going on in the villages.

Calling upon the village panchayats and villagers to play the role of invigilators, he said that they should play an active role for the comprehensive development of the villages.

He also reviewed the Thapar model pond built in the village, the water of which has been used for irrigation besides appreciating the efforts made for waste management in the village.

Apart from this, he also visited the sports stadium, Health dispensary in the village to check the availability of medicines.

On this occasion SDM
Lal Vishwash Bains , BDPO Amarjit Singh, village panchayat and other dignitaries were also present.
