Following the ultimatum given by Punjab CM Bhagwant to former CM Charanjit Channi to present all information regarding demanding bribe from cricketer till May 31, Channi replied to Mann in a press conference here.
In a press conference, Channi said that if the Chief Minister has any evidence of corruption, he should let me in by registering the FIR instead of setting dates by tweeting. Channi again denied the allegations leveled against him.
He also said he himself has come to this position through hard work, he has never asked any player to go and meet his nephew. He himself has confirmed from his family members that they have found someone in this regard, but hisfamily is also saying that there is no such thing, said Channi.
He also asked Mann to arrest him but there is no proof against him. “The Aam Aadmi Party is targetting me and their intention only to arrest me. If they want to do so, I am ready to face this.”
He also said he had already took oath at the Gurdwara Sahib regarding this and he know he is honest.
