Chandigarh Sampark Centres introduce e-Registration service

The Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh Administration in collaboration with Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited has introduced e-Registration service through Sampark Centers.

The service shall facilitate city residents to pay property registration-related fee at a nominal facilitation charge of Rs 40/- (exclusive of taxes) per transaction at Sampark Centers.

The service was launched on Wednesday by Director of Information Technology Rupesh Kumar, IAS. The first two city residents to avail of the service were Anurag Garg and Shri Arpit Taneja.

“Under the dynamic leadership of Worthy Adviser to the Administrator, we are committed to providing citizens with services that simplify their lives.

The launch of e-Registration through Sampark Centers is a step towards achieving this goal,” said Rupesh Kumar, Director Information Technology.

The Department of Information Technology has plans to further expand the services offered at Sampark Centers, to ensure that citizens have access to a wide range of government & other services in a convenient and efficient manner.
