Chandigarh: Constitution Day celebrated at Government College of Education

The Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) of Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, celebrated National Constitution Day on November 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949.

The event, attended by Principal Dr. Sapna Nanda, Dean Dr. AK Srivastava, faculty, and students, included activities highlighting the Constitution’s principles and citizens’ rights and duties.

The program began with the Preamble recitation, followed by a speech by Kumari Anjali, a presentation by Anamika on Know the Constitution, a video on the Making of the Constitution, and a poem by Neetu titled Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Swabhimaan. A quiz tested participants’ knowledge of the Constitution, and the event was hosted by Harseerat and Charvi.

Principal Dr. Nanda praised Dr. Nisha Singh, ELC Incharge, and the team for organizing the event, urging attendees to value their constitutional rights and responsibilities. The event concluded with Dr. Singh’s gratitude to all participants.
