Online Joint Prospectus for admissions in Government and Privately Managed Aided Colleges including Regional Institute of Co-operative Management, UT Chandigarh for the session 2024-25 was released on Thursday.
It was released by Rajeev Verma, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh in the presence of Abhijit Vijay Chaudhari, IAS, Secretary Education, UT Chandigarh; Amandeep Singh Bhatti, PCS, Director Higher Education, UT Chandigarh and Prof. Punam Agarwal, Coordinator Online Joint Prospectus cum Principal PGGC 11, Chandigarh along with Prospectus Committee.
As a part of “Digital India” campaign, this Online Joint Prospectus is a unique initiative for students to access information about all the colleges in UT through a single platform. The Online Joint Prospectus includes admissions for Under Graduate Classes as per NEP 2020 introduced for the first time by the Panjab University in its affiliated colleges. A detailed PowerPoint presentation on NEP 2020 is also uploaded on the website www.dhe.chd.gov.in to help students understand nuances of NEP 2020.
Admission for both Centralized and Non centralized courses of Government colleges and Grant in Aid Colleges of UT Chandigarh will be done in online mode via admission portal of Department of Higher Education, UT, Chandigarh- www.dhe.chd.gov.in. The admission portal will open from 13th June 2024 at 1:00 pm onwards. The last date for online submission of admission forms for Under Graduate courses is 1st July 2024. Admission process for all centralized Undergraduate courses will commence from 12th July 2024 while that for non centralized courses will commence from 15th July 2024. Online admission schedule for Post Graduate courses will start from 15th July 2024 onwards.
The Prospectus sketches out detailed online centralized admission schedule and procedures to facilitate the students applying for undergraduate and post graduate courses.
