Chandigarh group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized a workshop with students of Management on Self Employment Opportunities under the Entrepreneurship Awareness Program (EAP) from MSME-DI, Ludhiana.The keynote Speakers at the moment were Kundan Lal IEDS Asst. Director MSME – DFO Ludhiana, Anupama Rani Asst Director MSME DFO Ludhiana, Jatinder Singh MD M/S Endico Power Tools, Hament Berry Branch Manager Punjab National Bank Mohali, Ankush Kumar & Sandeep Kaur, SIPO, DIC Mohali.
The workshop began with the inaugural address by Kundan Lal, IEDS, Asst. Director, MSME – DFO, Ludhiana. He shared the details about the various Government initiatives to promote Entrepreneurship and creation of Job Opportunities for the youth of India. He also gave information about the various Schemes that promote Innovation and Research development towards new Product creation and commercialization of them.
Hament Berry, Branch Manager, Punjab National Bank, Mohali and Ankush Kumar, SIPO, DIC Mohali, talked about the various Funding options and the Grants, Subsidies and Benefits of the Schemes for the Industries development.
Jatinder Singh MD, M/S Endico Power Tools, Ludhiana took the session to a new level with his experience sharing as an Entrepreneur himself and share the benefits he has gained through the various funding schemes. Students were impressed with his contribution to Society and his unique ideas in promoting sustainability in society through knowledge sharing.
Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Jhanjeri said that Entrepreneurship promotion and development Programs are being organized regularly to nurture the talent of youth by enlightening them on various aspects of industrial and business activity required for setting up MSEs. These Programs are conducted for youth to set up their own industrial or self-employment venture.
Managing Director, Arsh Dhaliwal said at the moment that the Students have gained knowledge on all aspects of Entrepreneurship like Risk Management, Project Funding, Government Schemes and Opportunities available to the youth of today which will surely help them for their better future.
