Chandigarh, December 8
Dr. Sirra Karuna Raju, 1998-batch IAS officer of the Punjab batch who was handling the charge of Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab-cum-Secretary, Election has been relieved from the duty from Punjab.
He will now be joining the new assignment as CVO, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. (RINL), Visakhapatnam under the Ministry of Steel on central deputation, by handing over the charge of the Chief Electoral 0fficer, Punjab to B. Srinivasan, IAS (2011).
Notably, IAS officer B. Srinivasan was last month appointed as General Manager, Food Corporation of India, Punjab Region, Chandigarh on the deputation.
