District level ceremony regarding Independence Day was held at Cantt Board Stadium Ferozepur Cantonment. Minister of Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management, Water Supply and Sanitation, Bram Shankar Jimpa participated in the ceremony as the chief guest and hoisted the national flag. On this occasion, they BSF, Punjab Police, Punjab Police Women’s Wing, Punjab Home Guard, NCC. To salute from Scout and Guide troops.
In his message to the district residents at the district level Independence Day ceremony, the chief guest Bram Shankar Sharma Jimpa said that our country has become free due to the incredible sacrifices of the freedom fighters and on this occasion we pay tribute to all the martyrs, heroes and martyrs of freedom. We offer flowers of devotion to the warriors and heroes who participated in various freedom movements.
Jimpa said that the land of Punjab is full of sacrifices of martyrs and Ferozepur district has the honor of being the land of martyrs. He said that in the freedom struggle of the country, Punjabis made sacrifices which the whole country is proud of.
