The Punjab government has suspended one more Tehsildar. Lachman Singh, Tehsilsar in Patti of Tarn Taran has been placed under suspension with immediate effect.
On March 4, the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government suspended 14 Tehsildars and Naib-Tehsildars following their participation in a state-wide Mass leave strike protesting recent actions of the Punjab Vigilance Bureau.
