250 units of blood were donated by students and employees of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran at a blood donation camp organised by the Department of Student Welfare (DSW), CGC Landran in collaboration with Rotary Club Kharar and PGIMER Chandigarh.
The blood donation camp aimed to encourage young adults to get involved in selfless social service and make them understand the importance of donating blood which can save precious lives.
Dignitaries present on the occasion included Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, Ashutosh Anand, CEO, Touchstone Educationals, as guest of honour, President Rtn Advocate Ranjit Singh Rai, Club Secretary Vinay Rajput, Chairman Rtn Kamaldeep Singh Tiwana, past dist. Governor Manmohan Singh, Dilraj Singh, Ratanjeet Singh, Simran Grewal, Simran Lehal, Adv Simran Tiwana, Nitin Garg, Adv Hamender Kaushik, Baljinder Singh Aujla, Jakhar Singh, Hardeep Singh, SP Saraswat. President Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal appreciated all the donors for showing enthusiasm for this noble cause.
A dedicated teams of doctors from PGIMER, Chandigarh led by Dr. Divjot Singh conducted pre-medical tests while supervising different medical requirements at the camp.
