Chandigarh, March 11
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann took a jibe on former finance minister and BJP leader Manpreet Badal after his remarks on the state budget.
Without taking his name, Mann said, “Those who presented the budget nine times by making the treasury of Punjab an ’empty barrel’ and ‘taxes’ were collected in the name of their relatives are also criticizing our pro-people budget.”
Mann also attacked Badal over his political history of switching from SAD to PPP, then to Cong and now to BJP. He said, “Those who dye their turban from blue to yellow, from yellow to white, and from white to saffron are criticizing the budget. God bless Punjab.”
