Alarming: Ropar DC seeks Helicopters support to rescue villagers from flood water

Keeping in view the difficulty to rescue people Nangal and Anandpur Sub-divisions, stuck up in flood waters, the DM Rupnagar has sent SOS for Army help for providing Helicopters to save people.

The order issued by DC/ DM said that it is difficult to rescue villagers even with boats, which is why he has written to the state govt to seek support for Helicopters from the Army.
