State General Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party, Harchand Singh Barsat, while addressing a big rally organized by Dinesh Dhall, Jalandhar North’s circle in-charge, on Sunday, said that during the last assembly elections, AAP party supremo Arvinder Kejriwal had promised free electricity to the people of the state. And after the formation of its government the Mann government fulfilled that guarantee in the first three months of its tenure.
General Secretary Barsat while paying tribute to former Jalandhar MP Late Santokh Singh Chaudhary said that this by-election is very important. He said that just as the public had sent 92 MLAs to the legislative assembly with a huge mandate, similarly they will make AAP by-election candidate victorious with huge margin. He said that despite the Congress government and the presence of Congress MLA and MP, this constituency remained backward. There was no development work done by them. But, Dinesh Dhall, with his honest efforts, has got a lot of work done in this area.
Barsat said that the common man wants employment for their children, for that the AAP government has given employment to 28 thousand people in the last one year and thousands of people have been regularised. He said that children of rich and poor people study together in Delhi schools. Similarly, reforms are being done in schools in Punjab as well. He said that free treatment and medicines are being given to the people in the mohalla clinics set up by the AAP government.
The AAP General Secretary said that the BJP leaders have looted the country and squandered the money of our taxpayers on two rich families.He said that the BJP has waived off the loan of Rs.14.5 lakh crore of Adani and Ambani. Just as the Akali Dal in Punjab had sold off public sector properties to its favourites, similarly the Modi government has sold off railways, airports, sea-ports and coal mines to its favorite Adani. Today the Reserve Bank and the insurance sector are in danger. He said that our children are going to foreign countries for employment. When employment can be given to the youth by creating good opportunities in Punjab itself.
Apart from General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, Aam Aadmi Party’s by-election candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku’s wife Mrs. Sunita Rinku, State Secretary Rajwinder Kaur Thiara and Halka North Incharge Dinesh Dhall were also present in this public meeting.

Hundreds of people today joined the Aam Aadmi Party in a rally organized by Lok Sabha Constituency Incharge of Jalandhar North, Dinesh Dhall.
AAP State General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat while inducting all the people into the party said that a large number of people are joining the AAP party after getting impressed by the works and policies of the AAP government.
Hundreds of people including Sardar Gurveer Singh, Gaurav Arora, Himanshu Arora, Raj, Jagroop Singh, Vivek Kaushik, Mishra ji, Vijay, Chandan, Ramesh, Bhupinder, Giri ji, Pardeep, Jashanjot etc. were welcomed to the AAP family.
