Sushil Kumar Rinku, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-poll, on Sunday, held a big road show with thousands of supporters and workers in different areas of Jalandhar.
Sushil Rinku started the roadshow from Samrai in Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency. The roadshow started from Samurai and proceeded to Ward No-25 via Jandiala, Jamsher, Dina and Khambara.
Sushil Kumar Rinku and Aam Aadmi Party’s show of strength was witnessed in the road show. Thousands of ‘AAP’ workers, supporters and common people joined them. People were enthusiastic and welcomed the AAP candidate with flowers and garlands and raised slogans in Rinku’s support.
While addressing the people during the road show, Sushil Rinku said that the work which the previous governments could not do during 70 years was done by the Mann Government within one year. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took many historic and unprecedented decisions during his one year in the interest of Punjab and Punjabis.
Appealing to the people to support the Aam Aadmi Party in the by-elections, he said that the Aam Aadmi Party is the party of the common people. Provides a chance to people from common households to become MPs and MLAs. After becoming an MP, I will raise the voice of the common people of Jalandhar in the Parliament and will work hard for their welfare.
