CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Results 2025 Declared

New Delhi, May 13:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the Class 12 board exam results 2025 on Tuesday. According to an official statement, the overall pass percentage stands at 88.39%, showing a slight improvement over last year.

Among all regions, Vijayawada emerged as the top performer, achieving an impressive 99.60% pass percentage.

To pass the examination, students must secure at least 33% marks in both theory and practical components of each subject. Students falling short by one or two marks may be awarded grace marks to help them pass.

 Performance Highlights

  • Girls outperformed boys by more than 5 percentage points, according to CBSE Exam Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj.

  • Over 1.15 lakh students scored above 90%.

  • More than 24,000 students secured 95% or above.

  • However, over 1.29 lakh candidates have been placed in the compartment category.
