Two persons were killed today when their speeding car collided with roadside tree near the village Tashpur, Sultanpur Lodhi.
The deceased have been identified as Joga Singh and Raghbir Singh both residents of village Malsian falling in Jalandhar.
The police said both the victims were coming from Kapurthala side to village Malsian in a car in the early hours of this morning when their speeding car collided with a tree resulting in their instant death.
Police said the car was so badly damaged that police used iron cutters to extricate bodies from the car.
Police took the bodies into possession for post-mortem.
Police registered a case.
