Ferozepur, February 17
Under Amrit Bharat scheme, 15 railway stations in the Ferozepur rail division, will be upgraded, with facility of escalators including Ferozepur Cantt.
DRM said, taking care of the convenience of passengers, Indian Railways provides many facilities like lifts and escalators at railway stations. This greatly benefits senior citizens, women, physically challenged, children, passengers carrying heavy luggage, etc. It is very convenient for them to go from one platform to another through escalators. As time is passing, these facilities are increasing day by day. A railway is trying to install lifts and escalators at maximum stations for the convenience of the passengers.
