Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains regularized the services of contractual teachers of 7654-3442 Cadre today, the cadre who has been exploited for last 14 years because of acquiring their higher education from recognized universities situated in States other than Punjab.
State President of ODL Front Baljinder Singh Garewal revealed the fact that these effected teachers have been getting a meager salary of 10,300 PM since their recruitment almost 14 years ago.
However, the 99% teachers from 7654-3442 Cadre got regularised in 2014 and 2016. It is also to be mentioned that most of these teachers also possess the same degrees as the effected teachers but these 1% teachers remained exploited because of the discriminating policies of the previous governments.
Now AAP Govt under the able leadership if Bhagwant Singh Maan brought this golden moment in the life of affected teachers providing great relief by regularizing their services and also providing previous benefits.
To the utmost surprise of these effected teachers, AAP Govt not only heeded their pleas but also issued Regular orders completing this arduous task in just 14 days.
These teachers including Baljinder Singh Garewal – President ODL Front, Jatinder Singh – Vice President, Mukesh Kumar, Pooja Rani, Parninder Kaur, Rajinder Kaur, Karamjit Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Sandeep Singh and others thanked AAP Party President Arvind Kejriwal, CM Punjab Bhagwant Maan, EM Punjab Harjot Singh Bains and AAP leadership from the core of their heart.
