Canada: Big relief for 700 Indian students, Government assures action against guilty and not innocent students

The immigrants minister has stated on the floor of the house , that government is a “ process” so that innocent students can stay in Canada.

It has become possible due to persistent efforts of Indian diaspora in Canada. Friends of Canada & India Foundation, is vocally raising this issue since March.

Maninder Gill President Friends of Canada & India Foundation disclosed that they have thanked Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, MP Sukh Dhaliwal, MP Randeep Sarai, MP Param Bains , MP Ken Hardie, MP John Aldag, MP Kerry Lyne Findlay and Ontario based Punjabi Origin MPs for taking a firm stand on this issue.

He said that extraordinary efforts of India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S . Jaishankar deserve appreciation. Sanjay Verma , India’s High Commissioner to Canada was very proactive in achieving a fair result for the students. He said that he thanks the Government of India for resolving this issue.

He expressed hope that the authorities in India & Canada reach to the bottom of this fraud, so that this kind of situation can be prevented in future.
