Unite against drugs and crime: DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar

Project Sampark is not only for the eradication of drugs, it is a war against organized crime, street crime and anti-social elements.
These words were expressed by DIG Rupnagar Range Harcharan Singh Bhullar while addressing the students and public at Arora Palace Rupnagar under the Sampark program.
DIG Rupnagar Range said that Punjab government led by Bhagwant Singh Mann is determined to completely eradicate drugs from the state. With the cooperation of the common people and only by coming together, we can eradicate drugs from the root.
He said that the main objective of Project Sampark is to increase cooperation and trust between the police and the common people. Under Project Sampark, the district police is continuously holding meetings with the people so that the problems faced by the common people in the area can be resolved. He said that these meetings will continue in the future as well.
Mr. Harcharan Singh Bhullar appealed to the social leaders and people of different sections to immediately share information about drug smugglers and anti-social elements with the police, so that such elements can be controlled and stopped.
He said that the name of the person who gives any kind of complaint in this regard will also be kept confidential. To eradicate drugs, the police, press and the people of the area should work together so that the supply line of this drug can be broken.
Apart from this, he said that every parent should be asked to follow the traffic rules to their children and should be informed about the traffic rules so that accidents can be prevented.
SSPMr. Gulneet Singh Khurana, while addressing said that the Punjab government has opened cyber police stations to solve cyber frauds, if any person is cheated online, then he can register his complaint at the nearest cyber station or 1930 helpline. To file any complaint against those drugs, Safe Punjab Helpline 97791-00200 can be contacted on WhatsApp. The number, address and name of the person filing the complaint on this number are kept confidential.
On this occasion, SP S. Rajpal Singh Hundal, DSP S. Rajpal Singh Gill, SHO Pawan Kumar, SHO Sunil Kumar along with students of various schools and dignitaries of the district were present.
