NIA Conducts Raids at 10 Locations in Punjab

Chandigarh, January 23, 2026: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out raids at 10 locations across three border districts of Punjab. The agency stated that these searches were conducted to further the probe into a grenade attack on a temple in Amritsar in 2025. On Thursday, NIA teams targeted sites in Amritsar, Tarn Taran, and Gurdaspur.

During the raids, NIA teams seized a large quantity of incriminating material, including several mobile phones, digital devices, and important documents. The agency expects further analysis of these recovered documents and devices to uncover additional links to the terrorist conspiracy.
