NGT imposes Rs. 2000 crore fine on Punjab Government, read why

New Delhi, September 23

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed a fine of Rs. 2000 crore on Punjab Government for failing to manage solid and liquid waste

NGT said that it had repeatedly issued orders to Punjab Government but it failed to manage solid and liquid waste and it also failed to take any concrete step to resolve the issue.
