Startup Punjab team proudly participated in the inauguration of the dedicated innovation hub “Venture Lab Thapar” at Thapar University, Patiala. Deepindar Dhillon, Joint Director( Startup Punjab) and Sector Officer (Invest Punjab) was the chief guest for the occasion. He congratulated the management of the institution for this remarkable achievement and briefed the gathering about Government initiatives aimed at fostering a robust startup ecosystem in the state, emphasizing the collaborative efforts required to empower young entrepreneurs.
VentureLab Thapar is the Innovation Hub at Thapar Institute that has been designed to accelerate early-stage high-tech startups by providing comprehensive support to help them grow and built on the success of the VentureLab model in the Netherlands.
Located in a state-of-the-art facility, it will offer:
• 25,000 sq ft of flexible workspaces, offices, meeting rooms, and hybrid-enabled lecture spaces for collaboration and learning.
• Training programs to build entrepreneurial skills Mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and investors.
• Networking opportunities to connect startups with National and international markets and funding.
• Entrepreneurship events in collaboration with national and international organizations
