Tamil Nadu to clash with Haryana in Senior Women’s National Football Championship

New Delhi, June 28

A battle of nerves awaits the two finalists, Tamil Nadu and Haryana in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship, as they cross swords at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Amritsar Punjab on Wednesday.

The Senior Women’s NFC has, thus far, been dominated by Manipur, who have won 21 of the 26 championships. The 2022-23 edition, however, has thrown a few surprises, with Manipur being knocked out in the group stage of the Final Round, where they finished third in Group B, behind Haryana and Railways.
