SGPC Elections- File objections and appeals over draft voter list till March 10

Ludhiana, February 4

Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal announced that voters can file objections and appeals with the relevant revising officers until March 10, 2025, regarding the draft voter list published for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections.

Jorwal explained that this draft voter list was compiled based on forms received between October 21, 2023, and December 15, 2024. The list is available at the offices of the Revising Officers.

For the 63 – Khanna area, the revising officer is the SDM Khanna, and the draft voter list is available in his office. Voters are encouraged to file any objections or appeals there by March 10. In the 64 – Payal area, the revising officer is the SDM Payal, who has the draft list available for voters to check and file objections.

In the sub-divisions of 72 – Ludhiana West, 75 – Samrala, 67 – Raikot, and 68 – Jagraon, the respective SDMs serve as revising officers, and voters can verify the draft voter list and file objections in their offices.

For the 74 – Ludhiana Rural area, the SDM East is the revising officer, and the draft voter list is available at office located in the District Administrative Complex. In the 70 – Mullanpur Dakha area, the District Revenue Officer (DRO) acts as the revising officer; voters can check the draft voter list and file objections in the DRO branch of the District Administrative Complex.

Voters in the 66 – Pakhowal area can check the draft voter list and file objections at the office of the District Development and Panchayat Officer, located on the first floor of the District Administrative Complex.

The Additional District Commissioner (Urban Development) is the revising officer for the 69 – Sidhwan Bet area, where voters can verify the draft voter list and file objections in room number 118 of the District Administrative Complex.

For voters in the 65 – Doraha area, the Regional Transport Officer serves as the revising officer and the draft voter list is available for review in room number 1 of the Zila Parishad building, opposite the Vigilance Office.

Lastly, for the 71 – Ludhiana South and 73 – Ludhiana North areas, the Joint Commissioners of the Municipal Corporation (MC) are the revising officers. Voters can check the draft voter lists and file objections in room number 12 of the MC Zone-C building on Gill Road and room number 72 on the third floor of the MC Zone-A building, respectively.
