Ferozepur, November 14
Punjab State’s first and Northern Railway’s Ferozepur Division’s second Rail Coach Restaurant was inaugurated at Pathankot Cantt Railway Station on 14 November 2023. It has been installed on the railway premises of Pathankot Cantt Railway Station. It is built under the concept of Restaurant on Wheels or Food on Wheels of Railways, in which an abandoned old railway coach has been converted into a rail coach restaurant.
Earlier, the first train coach restaurant of the state of Jammu and Kashmir was inaugurated on November 9, 2023, at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Railway Station of Ferozepur Division of Northern Railway.
