th the uniterrupted power and canal water supply to the farmers, during the current paddy season, has brought cheers on the faces of farmers, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan.

This year, the Punjab government has provided uninterrupted canal water and power supply to the farmers, and most of the farmers in the district have completed harvesting of their paddy crops. This was expressed by the MLA of Ferozepur Urban Constituency. Ranbir Singh Bhullar.

Adeded here, Bhagwant Mann has already given detailed instructions to PSPCL to make sure that the power supply to other categories of consumers especially the households should not be hampered and get regular power supply during the peak summer season.

MLA Bhullar said that regular canal water supply was not given during the paddy season by the previous governments and water did not reach the tails due to lack of water supply, while now the Chief Minister had given clear orders to the officials of the canal department to ensure uninterrupted supply of canal water on time and wherever there were encroachments on the canals or ditches, supply of canal water to the farmers has been ensured.

He said that apart from this, more than 10 hours of power supply is being given to the farmers for the agricultural sector, but due to the abundance of canal water, most of the farmers are keeping their motors off. He said that with the strict implementation of this decision by the Punjab government, the farmers not only of Ferozepur district but of the entire state feeling pleasures over the working style of the Chief Minister.

Bhullar said that eliminating corruption from the state, providing good health education and basic facilities, free electricity and good road network to the people are the main priorities of the government. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has taken major historic decisions for the people of the state within one year of his government and recently he made a major historic decision to confirm temporary teachers and increase their salaries by three times. He said that the state government led by Bhagwant Mann is always striving for the progress and prosperity of the people of the state.
