Sukhjinder Randhawa’s son accused of beating youth

Congress leader and former deputy CM Sukhjinder Randhawa’s son Udayveer Singh Randhawa allegedly assaulted a youth and also put him in a vehicle at gunpoint last night here.

The complainant Narvir Singh Gill submitted the complaint to the police last night in this regard.

Addressing a press conference today, Narvir Singh Gill alleged that he went to a 5-star hotel in Sector 17 of Chandigarh where Udayveer met him in a washroom and provoked him following which a scuffle broke out between the duo. After that, he fled from there as gunmen of Randhawa was trying to nab him. A few moments later, Narvir was chased by Udayveer and they took him in a vehicle where they beaten him following which Narvir sustained injuries on his forehead.

It has been learnt that Narvir and Udayveer had a rivalry for the last two years.
