Situation under complete control after water release from Bhakra Dam, people stay away from rumours: DC

Villagers within Dhusi Bandh have been warned to reach a safe place immediately to avoid any further damage after the water level in river Sutlej went up after excess water was released from Bhakra Dam.

Apart from this, the officials of Water Resources Department, Public Works Department, Rural Development and Revenue Department have been instructed to strengthen the bandhs and speed up the relief works. This information was given by the Deputy Commissioner,  Rajesh Dhiman on the occasion of visiting the village Habib K and other villages near the river Sutlej when ADC(D) Arun Kumar and officers of various departments were also present.
