SGPC Poll: Bhagwant Mann announces important update on SGPC polls

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday gave an important update on SGPC elections.

Taking to micro-blogging site X, CM Bhagwant Mann said regarding the long-awaited elections of Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, new votes and voters will be created from October 21, 2023.

The process of correcting the lists will begin soon.

He shared that the Punjab government has appointed a senior IAS officer and Secretary Home Gurkirat Kripal Singh as Commissioner Gurdwara Elections Punjab.

While speaking to Babushahi, Chief Commissioner Gurudwara Election Retired Justice SS Saron praised government decision.

He these votes can be made by filling the proforma already prescribed by the Commission which can be sent to the concerned authorities.
