Due to operational reasons – heavy incessant rainfall in northern states,– the railways services have been disrupted and 52 trains have been affected. These have either been cancelled, short-terminated, short-originated or diversion on various routes of the Northern Division.
As per the information, 52 trains have been affected. There is cancellation/short termination of 10 trains, short-origination of 13 trains, Cancellation of 14 trains and diversion of 15 trains in the Northern Railway. At many places landslides and flooding has led to delay and cancellation of train services. As the monsoon has reached its peak, heavy rainfall continues to drench northern states like Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, etc. Delhi is also witnessing heavy rainfall for the past two days.
These trains shall be temporarily cancelled, diverted, short terminated or originated and as soon as the situation is normal, the same will be restored.
