Punjab youth who went to Canada four days ago dies

A pall of gloom descended at Nauli village of Jalandhar district as soon as they received the news of the tragic death of a village youth who had just gone to Canada four days ago.The deceased has been identified as Gagandeep Singh Gugu.

The reasons for Gagandeep’s death are not yet known. Pal Singh Nauli, son of the deceased’s uncle, said that his brother was married and had reached Canada on September 6. His wife had earlier gone on a ‘study visa’.

On September 10, his health deteriorated, after which he died. The news of his death has created a wave of mourning in the village.
