Punjab tops in the country in Har Ghar Jal scheme with 7 certified Districts 

Chandigarh, September 8

Punjab has topped in the country in implementing Jal Jeevan Mission-Har Ghar Jal scheme with 7 certified Districts in the state.

Districts which have been certified include Barnala, Faridkot, Fategarh Sahib, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Malerkotla and SAS Nagar. These districts have 836858 household which are getting potable water through piped supply lines.
