The Punjab government has taken a firm stand against the revenue officers who have gone on mass leave, warning them to resume duty by 5 PM today or face suspension.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has made it clear that the state will not tolerate disruptions in public services due to the strike. If the officers fail to return to work within the given deadline, strict action, including mass suspension, will be taken.
The government’s decisive move comes as a response to the ongoing protest by tehsildars and naib tehsildars, which has affected revenue-related services across Punjab.
