Punjab Govt declares holiday on December 28

The Punjab Government has declared a Gazetted holiday on December 28, 2023 in the State on the Shaheedi Sabha, Sri Fatehgarh Sahib-2023.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of the State Government said that all the offices of Punjab Government, boards/corporations and government educational institutions will remain closed on Thursday, December 28, in the State. The said holiday is also announced to be a holiday as the interpretation of the section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
