Punjab Government declares holiday on 1st May on the occasion of Labour Day

Chandigarh, April 28

The Punjab government has issued a notification today declaring holiday on 1st May as a gazetted holiday in government offices, boards/corporations and educational institutions across the state of Punjab to mark Labour Day.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that all Punjab government offices, boards/corporations and educational institutions in the state of Punjab will remain closed on 1st May.
