Punjab Budget 2024-25: Govt to establish Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Lab for sophisticated crime analysis

The Punjab Police in collaboration with IIT Ropar to establish an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML) Lab. This lab would use artificial intelligence for sophisticated crime analysis and would address evolving challenges being faced in law enforcement.

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema while presenting the budget. He said that Punjab police is making substantial strides in law enforcement.
