‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ kickstarted by SAD President for Punjab’s betterment says, Brahmpura

The ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ on Thursday commenced under the esteemed leadership of party president Sukhbir Singh Badal. As a mark of reverence, the entire leadership sought blessings at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to invoke Guru Sahib’s guidance.

In a media address, Ravinder Singh Brahmpura, Shiromani Akali Dal Constituency In-Charge from Khadoor Sahib and former MLA, shed light on the purpose of the ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra.’ He expressed concerns over unfulfilled promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party before the 2022 elections and criticized the alleged detrimental impact of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, highlighting the misleading of the public.

The Akali Dal emphasizes that the ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ aims to ‘expose’ the Congress, BJP, and AAP, while also detailing the significant contributions of the Akali Dal governments in the state’s development.

Brahmpura underscored, “The present government has not brought any good to the state, and the growing support for the ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ among the people of Punjab has instilled fear among all opposition parties, including the current state government.” He added, “In the upcoming LS elections, the people of Punjab will hold the Congress, BJP, Aam Aadmi Party accountable for their alleged mismanagement and misleading practices.”

“During the launch of the ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra,’ distinguished leaders including former cabinet minister Daljit Singh Cheema, Arvinderpal Singh Pakhoke, Ravikaran Singh Kahlon, Adv. Arshdeep Singh Kler, Iqbal Singh Jhundan, Harpreet Singh former MLA Malot, Gursewak Singh Sheikh, and other eminent personalities graced the occasion alongside Brahmpura, marking a significant unified effort towards the welfare and progress of Punjab.”
