PSPCL suspends lineman for irregularities and negligence

On the directions of PSPCL management for ‘Zero Tolerance’ policy towards corruption in the PSPCL, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has suspended Dilbag Singh lineman (Employee ID 255243) of sub-division Amarkot under Bhikhiwind division in under Taran Tarn district here today on the allegations of irregularities and negligence while discharging official duty.

A spokesman of PSPCL disclosed said that this step has been taken based on an audio clip goes viral in which the lineman was demanding Rs 5000/- from the consumer Gurdev Singh s/o Shingra Singh of village Valtoha for the replacement of a single phase 10 KVA damaged transformer for domestic supply.
