PSPCL identifies hundreds of consumers availing free power even without domestic consumers, orders recovery

Bathinda, February 24

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has identified hundreds of consumers including government/non government institutions, religious places who were receiving facility of free power under domestic 300/600 units scheme even when they were not entitled for this facility.

In orders issued by Additional SE Bathinda said that hundreds of such consumers including government hospitals, schools, religious places, sainik guest houses etc were availing these facilities without entitled to such facility. Orders said that such facility should be stopped and amount of facility received should be recovered.
