Pre-paid Meters to be mandatory for power connections at Govt offices

Chandigarh, February 7

The Smart pre-paid meters will be compulsory for existing and new government connections in  Punjab State Power Corporation up to contract demand up to 45 KVA with the effect from March 1, 2023.

For the pre-paid metering, the consumers have to pay in advance for the future consumption of the electricity.
