PAU organizes week-long exhibition of Art Creations

The Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, College of Community Science, has organized a week-long art exhibition at Student’s Home, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU).

At the exhibition, elective students of the department displayed various art creations prepared by them in different art forms like Mandala art, alcohol painting, Lipan art, Resin art, and many more.

Dr. Nirmal Jaura, Director of Students’ Welfare, who was the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony, lauded the artistic skills and creations unleashed by the students.

Dr Kiranjot Sidhu, Dean, the College of Community Science, encouraged the students to continue the good work and pursue their creativity to become successful entrepreneurs.

Dr. Deepika Vig, Head of the Department, while extending her gratitude to PAU authorities, said that vigorous efforts were being made to hone the skills of the youth to help them usher as artists.

Dr. Shivani Rana, the Organizer of the event, welcomed the dignitaries and the participants. She informed that the exhibition will be open for all from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm till next Monday that is July 24 at the Student’s Home.

The exhibits displayed in the exhibition are for sale, she told, while calling upon the faculty members and students to visit the exhibition to encourage the participating students.

Dr. Sharanbir Kaur Bal, Associate Professor; Anchal Gupta, Artist, Passion Art and Craft Institute; and Satvir Singh, Supervisor, Cultural Activities, PAU, were also present on the occasion.
