Patiala: Police forcibly removes protesting farmers in front of Power Corporation, gates opened

Patiala, June 13

Patiala police under leadership of IG Mukhwinder Singh Chhina and SSP Varun Sharma today early morning forcibly removed protesting farmers in front of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited here. Farmer leaders including Jagjit Singh Dallewal were taken to hospital and their belongings were captured by police.

Later IG Mukhwinder Singh Chhina said that our operation is complete and we have opened gates of Power corporation to enable employees to work peacefully and ensure power supply for paddy season.
