NK Sharma poses five questions each to Preneet Kaur, Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi and Dr. Balbir Singh

Shiromani Akali Dal candidate from Patiala NK Sharma today asked five questions each to all three candidates of National parties including Preneet Kaur, Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi and Dr. Balbir Singh based on feed back received from people while canvassing.

Going live on social media, NK Sharma gave them time of 48 hours to respond to else he will give answers in a PC on May 28, 2024. He also said that he was ready to reply to their questions if they have any. He said that he will continue to work as ‘Pehredar’ of People of Patiala.

He asked Preneet Kaur that she remained a Cabinet Minister in Union government and MP for 20 years, why she failed to bring even a single big project for Patiala. He asked her to release every details of her grant spending on development works. She remained MP for four times, why problem of Ghaggar was not resolved in all these years. She got meeting of farmers of 24 villages with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari but why farmers were not given compensation of their land. How much was her attendance in Parliament and where and how much grant she had spent.

SAD leader asked former AAP MP and now Congress candidate Dr. Dharamvir Gandhi how many questions he asked during his five year stint as Member Parliament related to Patiala. Why he failed to get problem of Ghaggar resolved. What he did to get tag of backward area from name of Patiala removed with development works. After winning elections how many Assembly segments he visited out of total nine and he should release report of his development works.

Posing questions to Punjab Health Minister and AAP candidate Dr. Balbir Singh, he said that his own assembly segment is in shambles with all major road in bad condition and he had converted sewa kendras into AAP clinics but dispensaries were without staff.

He said that why he did not protested against inauguration of a ward by Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann in oldest Mata Kaushalya hospital. He said that AAP had promised to open 16 medical colleges in five years but he failed to open even a single medical college in last two and a half years. He should also tell how many dispensaries and hospitals he has opened in last two and a half years and why he failed to get compensation for farmers of 24 villages whose land has been acquired for Northern bypass.

He also asked Dr. Balbir Singh to tell why Punjab government failed to give its share in Ayushman card scheme to private hospitals due to which poor people have been refused treatment by these hospitals. He also asked him why Punjab government failed to resolve issue of Ghaggar.

NK Sharma said that he will wait for their answers for next 28 hours and if they fail to give answers, he will hold a press conference on May 28, 2024 to give their answers. He also said that he was ready to give answers to any questions from these three candidates.
