MP Kirron Kher insulted the Dalit community

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chandigarh strongly criticised the behaviour of MP Kirron Kher towards the Dalit Chandigarh Mayor Kuldeep Kumar. AAP said that the MP discriminated against our mayor and Dalit community.

AAP Chandigarh co-in-charge Dr Sunny Ahluwalia, in a statement released from the party on Wednesday, said that in a program at Governor House on Tuesday MP Kirron Kher asked to sanitise the mic after the speech of our Mayor. BJP and its leaders have always been anti-Dalit and such discrimination towards an elected representative exposes their ideology.

He said that she didn’t only insult the first citizen of Chandigarh but she also hurt the dalit community and it is sad that such people and thinking still exist. He said that her thinking is reprehensible. He demanded an immediate apology from Kirron Kher and said that if she doesn’t apologize then the Aam Aadmi Party will launch a protest against her.
