Baghapurana MLA Amritpal Singh Sukhanand has responded on the matter of beating a journalist. The MLA said that he is not a journalist at all. He just runs his own Facebook page. It is not accurate to call him a journalist.

Addressing the media from the Chandigarh party headquarters, Amritpal Sukhanand said, he deliberately made that reel to defame me for the publicity of his Facebook page or at the behest of any opponent. Reel is edited, many things have been deliberately deleted from it and it is not the whole truth.

The MLA said that after getting information about the reel, I called him to my office. At that time 30-40 workers and common people were sitting in the office. I showed that reel to everyone. Everyone thought it was wrong. Then I asked him to delete that reel and apologize. He also apologized through a video, in which it is clearly visible that he apologized without any pressure.

The MLA mentioned a man from his constituency, Ravi Sharma alias Kulwant Rai, and said that his wife is the sister of my friend. Kulwant Rai has been fighting with his wife for 15 years. There’s the dhaba he is talking about. At the same time, during the dharna, the leader of the union abused Kulwant Rai and termed him as a very bad person.
