Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday asked the Deputy Commissioners to maximize field visits for ensuring that benefits of pro-people and development-oriented schemes are percolated to people at the grassroots level.
The Chief Minister, while chairing a meeting of DCs here at Punjab Bhawan, said that the officers should make concerted efforts for ensuring that the welfare of the public is ensured through the schemes of the state government. He said that the officers must ensure meticulous implementation of these schemes for desired results.
Bhagwant Mann said that he will personally monitor the implementation of such schemes at the ground level for well being of common man.
The Chief Minister asked the officers to ensure ‘Sarkar Tuhaade Dwaar’ programs in the area of their jurisdiction adding that it is a flagship program of his government for the progress of the state and prosperity of its people.
He said that this program finds no parallel across the country as no other state government bothers to spare so much time for the people by solving their problems at their doorsteps.
