Many BJP leaders from Punjab remained absent during Union Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Gurdaspur.

Amid the strict security arrangements where Amit Shah addressed a large gathering in Gurdaspur during the 9 years of the BJP government.

The non-arrival of any big leader and leader of the Gurdaspur parliamentary constituency in BJP’s national level rally itself raised a big question for the people.

The leaders who remain absent included the late Vinod Khanna’s wife Kavita Khanna, who contested on a BJP ticket, and Swaran Salaria, who contested the Lok Sabha seat. It must also be mentioned here that Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol was also absent from this rally, the reason is said to be his son’s marriage.

Sunny Deol’s absence from the party’s big event remained a major topic of discussion among the workers who arrived at the rally.
