Kultar Sandhwan condoles on demise of freedom fighter Amar Singh Sukhija

Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan, on Tuesday expressed deep grief over the sad demise of freedom fighter Amar Singh Sukhija.
In a press communique issued here, the Speaker stated that Amar Singh Sukhija joined hands with the former President of India Giani Jail Singh in the Parja Mandal Movement against the Faridkot princely state during the freedom struggle and supported him in this journey throughout. He said that Amar Singh Sukhija was given harsh punishments by the Faridkot princely state during this movement, but he made his important contribution to the freedom of the country without giving up his path. He said that with the passing away of Amar Singh Sukhija, we have lost a unique and great personality.
The Speaker prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to provide courage to the bereaved family in bearing this irreparable loss.
