Launching an attack on SAD and its former ally BJP, Punjab Senior AAP leader Malvinder Singh Kang that it’s the former ally of SAD that is not allowing the release of Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar.

Kang made the statement during a press conference following the reports that Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government has rejected the release of Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar.

“Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar who has been lodged in jail for over 25 years is not in the physically and emotionally right state. The police have given NoC on many occasions that Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar can be released. In December last year, a 7-member board was constituted that included Haryana Cabinet Minister Kailash Gehlot. He was the sole member of the committee who demanded the release of Professor Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar,” said AAP leader Malvinder Singh Kang.

“I want to stress the fact that the 7-member board was constituted by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi of BJP party. While six members of BJP in the committee opposed the release of Professor Devinder Pal Bhullar, it was only the AAP leader who demanded his release. I have minutes of the meeting,” he said.
